Baliza believes in making a beautiful world by creating clothing made with care and love. Each Baliza garment is made in sustainable cotton with many hours of handcrafted details and works from the finest artisans. We do not produce fast fashion items, we produce timeless pieces that are handmade with care, styles that last. We have a perennial collection of classic kaftans that we have available online and in stores and we add a few new styles and prints to it twice a year. We concentrate our efforts on developing new skills for our artisans and sourcing for sustainable materials.
We are looking for an enthusiastic new intern to join our team in Singapore. Above all you must be a lover of sustainable fashion and work with us in helping us with sales and marketing of the brand.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Conceptualising and designing marketing collaterals for social media.
- Scheduling editorial content across BALIZA's social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
- Business development for new retail partners
- Helping out behind the scenes on photoshoots for BALIZA
- Occasional e-commerce and administrative tasks related to our website
- Keeping track of inventory across various retail partners
- Helping with setting up and sales at various pop-up events like Boutique Fairs.
- Work is part-time with high flexibility and a work from home option.
You should be:
- A keen writer and storyteller
- Excellent written and spoken English
- An understand of/passion for the sustainable fashion
- A out-of-the-box thinker and social media savvy
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Able to use Canva and/or Adobe CS software (Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Able to take decent photos on the phone or camera
- Outgoing and enjoy engaging with people from all walks of life
- Able to commit to a three month placement
