We are a boardsport school that focuses on skateboarding. We love the sport, and we want to share our love of the sport with anyone who is interested in skating. They could be beginners just wanting to give it a shot. They could be more seasoned skaters who are looking to do more tricks. If you skateboard and love skateboarding as much as we do, read on.
You NEED to be good with kids. Knowing how to skateboard alone does not a skateboard coach make. Our coaches are the big brothers and sisters to our students, not military commanders. Just like the rainbow, every kid is different. Some are shy and timid, others are not afraid to engage adults and meet new challenges with ease. You need to be able to find out how to work with each kid; How to bring out the best in them, how to let them love skateboarding the way we do, and how to be a good sportsman.
Other things to note:
- Classes happen at Somerset Skate Park and Xtreme Skate Park. You need to be able to travel between both
- Must be able to commit weekends - Sat and Sun
