We are an IT company providing 1st level IT service desk support to client, service range from helpdesk remote support, to deployment new equipment and IT infrastructure relocation. With existing experienced engineers, we are open to share the tips to manage user expectation, and resolve issue from user 's point of view. Know the technical fundamental is one thing but how to explain to a non technical user is another skill to be learn on the job.

Job Description

 

  • 6 months contract, with one time bonus payout upon completion.
  • 4 days paid leave within the contract period
  • If need to attend onsite, travel cost will be reimburse
  • working hour Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (less public holiday)
  • Reimburse phone bill /phone allowance

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Computing, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant working experience
  • Medium understanding of the Windows desktop support technology areas and Microsoft O365 applications support
  • Basic technology of networking
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of common desktop applications
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a fast-paced/demanding environment
  • Manage well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service and English communication skills

 

Scope of work:

  • Set up and manage user accounts and permissions
  • Provision laptops / desktops for rollout to users
  • Update and maintain the IT asset inventory
  • Install and upgrade approved software / applications on machines
  • Troubleshoot IT related issues
  • Work to be done physically onsite or remotely, depending on issue
  • Maintain and contribute to a knowledge base when necessary
  • Coordinate hardware warranty repair
  • Get quotations from vendors when requested or where necessary
  • Escalate to 3rd party vendors when necessary and conduct follow ups
  • Provide advice on required software or hardware upgrades
  • Update tickets accurately and timely, with proper notes and details
