Responsibilities
• Leverage on Cloud environment and service-oriented architecture principles to define and own Solution Architecture (applications and data technologies)
• Work on clients’ needs such as customising solutions using software that fully integrates with customer’s existing cloud infrastructure from data flow, security, DevOps, and other standpoints
• Develops, documents, and executes thorough technical test plans and protocols to ensure that architectural changes are working properly
• Provides risk identification role. Conducts testing that may include the use of batch scripts, online processes, databases, or interface files
• Determines, describes and documents the most effective technical approach to define and resolve identified problems. Maintains system architecture diagrams, including all related components
• Develops and recommends new processes, tools, and technology that improves the system and/or its architecture
Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent from a recognised University
• At least 6 years’ experience in IT/Tech and 3 years’ work experience designing, executing, and supporting IT/Tech Cloud/SaaS solutions
• Have an exceptional understanding of cloud computing technologies and recent computing trends and familiarity with enterprise architecture and enterprise application integration. They should also have adept knowledge of data modelling best practices and practical knowledge of Agile Software development methodology
• Experience in full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment is required
• Experience of Agile principles and processes and leading teams in agile at-scale methods using DevOps tools and process
• Experience in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
• Good command of English Language
Having experience in the following is a plus:
· Exposure/experience and/or certifications in Google/AWS/Azure/API
· Knowledge of: RESTful Services, Web Services, SOAP, WebSphere, WebLogic, JMS, MQ
· Knowledge of: Akka (including persistence and clusters) Mesos, DC/OS, Docker, CQRS
