AYes Learning Centre is a tuition centre which offers tuition classes for students aged 7 years to 17 years old. In addition, the Centre provides homework supervision services which is somewhat similar to student care services but the main focus is on academic.
AYes Learning Centre aims to provide the best education to learners in primary and secondary school. We strive to be an educator that impacts the lives of many students in positive ways they must be willing to be vulnerable and willing to grow, increasing their capacity. The Centre is located in Clementi and about a 2minute walk from the station.
The Company is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the above mentioned position. The shortlisted candidate will undergo training and be notified of the ultimate objectives and expectations before the commencement of the job.
The role of a Homework Supervisor is as follows:
1. To check if the student has any school homework, spelling and etc... on a daily basis
2. To ensure that the student has fully completed his/her work before dismissing them
3. To explain, guide the student on concept(s) which he/she is uncertain of/unclear
4. To discipline the student and in cultivate good personal qualities such as independence, good study behaviour , does work diligiently and etc... in him/her
5. To incorporate a part of tuition services during the session (i.e. as a tutor )
6. To monitor and update on the progress/performance of the student
The requirements of the ideal candidate is as follows:
1. A Diploma OR Degree graduate
2. Prior experience in teaching/tutoring is compulsory
3. Have a (strong) passion in teaching
4. Able to handle primary level students, including those whom are an attention seeker
5. To be able to commit for at least 1 year
6. An independent person whom is aware of the tasks assigned to him/her and is able to carry them out well without being supervised
7. To be well-versed in all primary subjects (English, Math, Science, Chinese)
8. A creative thinker whom is takes an initiative to source for methods/resources to conduct the sessions/lessons in an interactive way.
9. Is willing to take an extra mile to do more than what is required
