Aw's Market is a growing fresh meats and seafood butchery retailer. The company sells and delivers goods through its e-commerce site (www.awsmarket.com.sg), as well as through some of Singapore’s biggest e-Commerce retailers like Redmart, Amazon, and NTUC On. Aw’s Market also has 4 retail stores across the island, and more coming in 2021! We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated bookkeeper to join our close knit team. Reporting to the Finance Manager and the Account Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual seeking a diverse role.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Maintaining the Administrative Workflow and ensuring proper documentation for continuity of work operations
• Handle general bookkeeping and accounting duties on a day to day basis 
• Accounts Receivable administration - Manage aging debt and debtors information 
• Accounts Payable administration Bank reconciliations 
• Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts of main company and its sub entities 
• Invoicing 
• Assist with payroll processing, including expense claim reimbursements 
• Perform some basic ad hoc analytical calculations where needed 
• Assist with completing vendor forms 
• Assist with completing statistics reports requested by Government Authorities 
• Assist with any jobs outside of the daily activities to progress the finance department, eg. assist in end of year checking of accounts to finalise end of year review 
• Assist in finalising of accounts to enable statutory lodgements and year end accounts reviews, eg. GST, Accounts Review, IR8A, IR21
