Job Description

About Your Role:

During this Business Development internship , you will work across different business functions ranging from business development, marketing and operations. If you are passionate about the core processes that drive start-ups and growing the company, this role is for you. 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Manage and analyse sales activity and prospects 
  • Serve as our sales representative in generating qualified leads via follow-ups to website inquiries, outbound emails or calls, etc. 
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for business development and partnerships
  • Conduct customer & market research to support refinement of company business strategies
  • Oversee customer enquiries and sales qualification to provide quotations to customers 
  • Work directly with the founding team in executing growth strategies for the company
  • Work cross-functionally across product management, tech, growth and sales to support initiatives and improve overall operations efficiency

Requirements:

  • Exceptional and effective verbal and communication skills 
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously and deal with ambiguity 
  • Strong willingness to learn and pick up new skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and genuinely excited by a fast paced start-up environment
  • Experience in start-ups, or in a project management/marketing/data analytics role (ideally in tech) is a plus
