Introduction
Automata Network (https://ata.network) is a decentralized service protocol that provides privacy middlewares for dApps on Ethereum and Polkadot to achieve privacy, high assurance and frictionless computation. Leveraging on the latest crypto and privacy-protection algorithms, along with hardware-based trust, the service protocol enables versatile use-cases not previously possible in the past, such as anonymous voting, MEV minimization, and no-tracking indexing. After its debut on Binance launchpool as a unicorn, Automata Network keeps delivering top-notch products and services for Web3, e.g., Witness and Conveyor.
It is built by the industry’s foremost blockchain veterans and award-winning researchers from Singapore. Founded in 2019, Automata Network is a recipient of Web3 Grant (2020), and a participant of the Web 3.0 Bootcamp (2020), Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator (2021), Polkadot Decoded Mainstage speaker (2021). We are based in Singapore but remote working is also acceptable.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing, leading and analysis of investment opportunities for Automata Network, in emergent companies and protocols.
Facilitate and assist with key strategic projects to support investment making decisions.
Create in-depth reports and presentations on crucial industry trends and events
Support senior investment professionals in due diligence procedures, research and financial modelling
Assist in managing grants for Automata Network’s ecosystem projects
Maintain incentive programme
Focus on direct investment in blockchain companies
Maintain current relationship with assigned companies and fund managers including monitoring of investments and advisory board meetings
Overall operational support on investor updates
Requirements:
At least 2 years of working experience in financial market and crypto/blockchain industry: knowledge of deals and valuations, comparison of market caps, understanding of market sentiment (especially defi projects)
Experience with writing insightful and concise investment memos and decks
Ability to coordinate deal flow process with investors
Familiarity with investments deal flow processes and systems would be an advantage
Analytical mind to identify deals in the market.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with external investment partners and invested projects.
