Aures Capital is a quantitative research and proprietary trading firm founded in 2011. We seek a talented Software Engineer intern to work on our systematic data and trading systems on cryptocurrency markets.
Job Description
Responsibilities of the intern includes:
- Build and enhance market data acquisition systems with connectivity to multiple exchanges and data venue.
- Build and enhance low latency trade execution systems across CEX and DEX
- Work closely with the Chief Investment Officer and key services providers to analyze requirements and convert them to technical solutions
- Understand and adhere to the internal rules and guidelines regarding software development, testing, versioning, documenting, certification, and deployment
- Analyze and improve operational aspects related to the trading systems include perfomance tuning
- Optimize the trading system by using network and systems programming and other advanced techniques to minimize latency.
Requirements:
- Experience in Java, C++, nodeJS, Python software development
- Experience working with database systems
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong background in networking, operating systems (Linux in particular), object-oriented programming and distributed systems.
- Experience in building low latency applications within high frequency trading space will be a big plus.
- Experience working in an electronic trading environment or in the financial domain is a plus
- Knowledge and experience working with blockchain technologies, and trading mechanisms of cryptocurrency exchanges is a plus
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms like AWS and building applications using REST APIs and websockets is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
