Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support our accounting and finance team. This role offers practical exposure to bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance work across a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with bookkeeping and data entry for multiple client accounts
Prepare bank reconciliations and basic balance sheet schedules
Support preparation of management accounts and financial statements
Assist in corporate tax computations and supporting schedules
Help organise audit and tax supporting documents
Maintain proper filing of accounting records and documentation
Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and formatting)
Exposure to accounting software such as Xero is an advantage
Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn
Able to work independently and as part of a team
