Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Intern will be working together with our Client Service Managers and Executives to provide bookkeeping and finance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilties

  • Assist with bookkeeping and month-end financial reports
  • Assist with audit queries
  • Assist with payroll preparation/cashier duties
  • Data entry
  • Support volunteers with accounting/client related queries
  • Be present at and assist with company events
  • Assist with gathering backup support and preparing of Journal Entries  
  • Assist with preparing and validating month end close schedules and analysis  
  • Assist in performing account reconciliations  
  • Assist in various system related projects, including but not limited to performing testing and documentation  

Requirements:

  • Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook software  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • A self-starter with a strong desire to learn  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • The Intern must be currently obtaining a Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance
