Asian Geographic Magazines Pte Ltd – Editorial Intern

The editorial intern will have the opportunity to:

• Research and write for three magazine titles: Asian Geographic, Asian Geographic Junior and Asian Geographic Passport
• Write and post on online platforms such as our website and social media pages
• Assist in picture research for features
• Copy edit and proofread features
• Attend media launches and press events
• Brainstorm for article ideas and editorial line-up
• Assist in coordinating AG events such as the Hot Soup School Challenge and the Images of Asia Photo Competition

The editorial intern must possess the below qualities:

• A flair for the English language with meticulous grammar skills
• Good general knowledge and an interest in current affairs in Asia
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about editorial production
• A strong interest in pursuing a career in writing and publishing after graduation
• Ideally a university student or recent graduate; final year poly grads will also be considered

** Note that a mandatory copy editing and writing test will be required at the interview stage.
