Job Description
Goods & Services Procurement (GASP) Internship
- Sourcing and prequalification of potential suppliers
- Issuance of/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Symphony Project (upcoming green-field plant on Jurong Island) and other non-industrial ad-hoc projects (e.g car leasing, insurance, PPE, recruitment services)
- Liaise closely with the Project Team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that the quotations received are in line with technical/commercial specifications. Negotiate with suppliers for best price and lead-time.
- Conduct Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) as final summary of negotiated rates and services.
- Presentation of proposed vendor to nomination committee stakeholders
- Assist in Purchase Requisition conversion to Purchase Order
- Daily and monthly up-keeping of standard purchasing reports
- Usage of Savings Declaration Tool to update savings negotiated by purchasing
- Draft MOM for Regional and internal meetings on ad-hoc basis
- Draft MOM for meetings with vendors/suppliers
