Job Description

The Client Account Opening Executive is responsible for supporting the onboarding process of new clients by ensuring all account documentation, compliance, and operational requirements are completed accurately and efficiently. This role involves close coordination with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth and compliant client onboarding experience. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Relationship Managers in preparing and processing client onboarding documentation for individual and corporate accounts.
  • Conduct preliminary KYC (Know Your Client) checks and ensure all required documents are complete and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Compliance, Operations, Legal) to review and verify client information before account submission.
  • Handle data entry and maintain accurate records in CRM or client management systems.
  • Follow up with clients or Relationship Managers for missing or additional documentation.
  • Coordinate with banks, fund houses, or custodians for account setup, activation, and maintenance.
  • Prepare reports and maintain updated tracking of account opening status.
  • Support periodic reviews, file updates, and ongoing due diligence (KYC refresh).
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all client information and documents.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. 
  • Mandarin & English working culture and environment
