Job Description

In this position you will have the opportunity to work alongside the various specialty broking teams and their support services spanning growth, client, broking, client services and claims. As such, you will become:

  • Familiar with each specialty industry:

Work with the team and interact with key markets according to the type of specialty and risk (financial institutions, trade credit & political risk, aviation, construction, marine, energy and crisis management)

  • Work with the team to understand the identification of client risks and how the insurance solution assists to manage client risk and add value to their businesses.
  • Familiar with team operations including providing broking support to:
  • Participate and support the slip preparation and insurance documentation processes
  • Assist the team to complete specific research on new business and tender details including client information, risk and other insurance information.
  • Process safety improvement programs

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduates graduating between December 2019 and June 2019 preferred
  • Degree in any discipline, 2nd class honors or GPA 3.0 and above strongly preferred
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Critical and innovative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self- motivated, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Adaptability – quick learner
