The Human Resources team is part of Aon’s Corporate Services. It is structured as shared resources to partnering with the Business Leaders and Colleagues in achieving business results.
At Aon Singapore, our HR Department has Centres of Excellence (CoE) with specialised teams in Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Organisational Development and Employment Relations. In addition, we have the HR Business Partners who work directly with respective Business Units acting as strategic partner to the Leaders in achieving People Strategy.
The Regional HR Business Partners are looking to provide professional experiences to the HR Intern to participate and gain practical HR skills and experiences. You will get the opportunity to engage in various HR projects and take part in training workshops to help build your HR acumen that ultimately make an impact to the team. In addition, you will have the opportunity to expose to full employment cycle via working with the HR CoE.
The intern will be involved in the following:
- Support Regional HR Business Partners and the business on key HR projects and activities such as talent and career development roadmap projects, facilitate the implementation of engagement action plans, roundtables and review training effectiveness
- Identify trends, develop recommendations and build presentations
- Providing day-to-day support in HR business partnering activities
- Involvement in other HR and people related projects which may be identified at the time
- Interact with other HR Teams (including HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and HR Business Partners) in fulfilling all the above responsibilities
Job Requirements
- Undergraduates graduating between December 2019 and June 2020 preferred
- Degree in Business with majors in Human Resources, Organizational Development and/or Psychology and with a clear intent to establish a career in this field
- Professional, meticulous and ability to multi task
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with good time management/prioritization skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Critical and innovative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Adaptability – quick learner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
