ANIA is a Singapore based skincare brand inspired by Africa. The company was founded in March 2016. We bring to the Asian market safe, non-toxic essentialist skincare products using a bespoke blend of science and Africa’s most potent and unaltered natural ingredients.
ANIA founders Mehdi Elaichouni and Fern Lee worked for several years on some of the largest skin care brands. Over time it became increasingly clear to them that the skincare industry is in the midst of a deep moral and ethical crisis, as animal testing, synthetic ingredients and confusing proprietary formulas increasingly faced considerable negative publicity and have since solidified consumers’ negative perceptions of chemicals.
The aim of this internship is to support the ANIA founders in developing marketing communications. You will be working closely with the CEO and will report to him for the entire duration of the internship. During this part-time internship, you will be required to work on ANIA at least 4 hours a day, and you will have to meet the ANIA CEO at least twice a week.
Detailed tasks:
- Research, write and edit copy for marketing communications including to but not limited to email, social content and online articles, blog posts, website content and more
- Brief art director on asset creation when needed
- Create content calendars on a monthly basis
- Consolidate, record, analyse and recommend next steps
- Follow closely competitors, best practices and social media innovations
Skills required
You have strong verbal, written and presentation communications skills
A good understanding of social (especially Facebook & Instagram), digital advertising, marketing (especially emailing) and strategic brand management
You are fast, self-motivated and independent
Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
You love creating great content and there is no doubt about your copywriting skills
Analytical and well organized
Being able to create quality content is a plus. Photography and Video.
Past experience in skincare or cosmetics industry is a plus but not mandatory.
May have to help create and manage events
