Ancourage Academy is an MOE-registered tuition centre in Bishan focused on small-group learning and personalised teaching. Arts by Ancourage is our creative enrichment arm offering structured art programmes (including fine arts pathways).
We’re growing our social media presence and looking for a marketing intern who loves content, trends, and real community impact—helping students learn better and families discover quality programmes.
Role Overview
You’ll help us film and produce short-form content, brainstorm campaign ideas, do market research, and expand our marketing reach across IG/TikTok/FB (and Google Business Profile where relevant). You’ll work directly with the founder/team—fast feedback, lots of creative ownership.
What you’ll do (weekly/daily)
Film short-form videos (Reels/TikTok): behind-the-scenes, teaching moments, parent tips, art process content
Edit content using CapCut (or similar): captions, hooks, pacing, basic motion text
Brainstorm and script content: hooks, storyboards, CTA, trend adaptation
Market research: competitor scan, pricing/positioning notes, content trend research
Support community/growth: outreach ideas, simple partnership leads, content distribution (where to post, groups/pages, collabs)
Assist with content planning: 2–4 weeks content calendar + posting checklist
Track basic performance: views, saves, shares, follower growth; recommend improvements
On-camera note
You should be comfortable appearing in some videos (e.g., intro/outro, street-style vox pops, skits). No influencer experience needed—just willing to try.
Safeguarding & privacy
We work with minors. Any filming that may include students will follow strict guidelines and require proper consent and supervision.
Tools you may use/learn
CapCut, Canva, IG/TikTok trends, basic analytics, simple content systems (Notion/Sheets).
Additional Notes:
Looking for minimum 4 days in office and other days WFH, because of filming needs and brainstorming. Open to more flexibility after getting to know the work functions.
Comfortable filming on a phone (stable shots, basic lighting/audio awareness)
Basic editing ability (CapCut/Canva) OR strong willingness to learn quickly
Strong communication + reliable execution (content is time-sensitive)
Interest in education, youth content, or arts is a big plus
Comfortable being on camera occasionally
