DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in regular and one-day workshop facilitation
- Prepare the studio before and after workshops
- Assist artist(s) with workshops when required
- Maintain the daily operations of the space, including engaging with visitors, facilitating art sales, and routine facility maintenance
- Assist with basic online marketing activities on social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Maintain inventory record and installing exhibitions
- Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.
As part of the internship program, Interns will also learn and get hands-on experience in different art crafts, such as ceramic and pottery making, and other interesting crafts making. It will be a value-added experience where the Intern can include in their portfolio.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in an art-related tertiary institution, or with at least a diploma or degree in art-related qualifications;
- Punctual and responsible individual with a passion for art;
- Experience with pottery or ceramics is a plus but not mandatory;
- Good communication and enjoy interacting with customers;
- A team player;
- Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills;
- A minimum commitment period of 6 months is required;
