Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in regular and one-day workshop facilitation
  • Prepare the studio before and after workshops
  • Assist artist(s) with workshops when required
  • Maintain the daily operations of the space, including engaging with visitors, facilitating art sales, and routine facility maintenance
  • Assist with basic online marketing activities on social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Maintain inventory record and installing exhibitions
  • Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.


As part of the internship program, Interns will also learn and get hands-on experience in different art crafts, such as ceramic and pottery making, and other interesting crafts making. It will be a value-added experience where the Intern can include in their portfolio.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in an art-related tertiary institution, or with at least a diploma or degree in art-related qualifications;
  • Punctual and responsible individual with a passion for art;
  • Experience with pottery or ceramics is a plus but not mandatory;
  • Good communication and enjoy interacting with customers;
  • A team player;
  • Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills;
  • A minimum commitment period of 6 months is required;
