At Allianz Data Science team, we leverage our expertise to educate and empower the digital ecosystem on risk. We are responsible for ensuring the company is well equipped with the skills and technology needed to build the next data-driven business model for insurance. As an Intern, you’ll learn by teaming with Allianz Data Science team members to lead the next paradigm shift in data science, and you’ll embark on an exciting career. You’ll get to:
- Work closely with business teams and programs to identify, define and document problem statements

- Build bespoke data services using the latest technologies and tools

An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about discovering and solving complex problems, learning systems, connecting the dots between insurance and the wider ecosystem and fostering conversations. You will also be passionate about helping the team make great decisions, possess exceptional skills in project management and be interested in orchestrating collaborations. You will be detail-oriented and organized, and capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and in a team environment, and must be obsessed with serving the customer.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills has the ability to ask the right questions, analyze data, draws conclusion by making appropriate assumptions
- Organization skills demonstrated ability to work independently to make complex investigations
- Communication skills ability to communicate (written and spoken) in English
- Ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting data
- Work effectively & independently
- Ability to engage with internal and external teams and gather project/program requirements
- Outstanding attention to detail; Exceptional problem solving skills
Good to have-s:
- Some experience with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices
- Experience with modelling business processes utilising a variety of tools and techniques
- A passion for quality software; and the know-how to get from sketch to code
