Job Description

As the Transformation & Operational Excellence Intern, will be joining the fastest growing general insurance company in Singapore, playing a key role in driving operational excellence in the Customer and Distribution Care team. You will be assisting with projects that involve analysing, cleaning and reporting data to improve the efficiency of existing operational processes. Through this internship you will gain a hands-on experience and invaluable insights working in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Implement data cleansing processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of databases.
  • Review and validate billing reports for timely and correct payment to internal vendors.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues identified during the validation process.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to collect and analyze operational data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Track and report on KPIs to measure operational effectiveness.
  • Review and document business processes to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Support the operations team with ad hoc projects as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s programme in Business (preferably in the second or penultimate year)
  • Able to commit for a minimum of 4 months (part-time arrangement of minimum 3 days a week will be considered)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Demonstrates ability to meet deadlines and working under pressure with a results-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
