Job Description

Align’s Corporate Communication team is looking for a high-energy individual to assist with various communications projects for Asia Pacific. Corporate Communications is responsible for maintaining the “face” and reputation of the company with external and internal audiences. Externally, we are responsible for investor relations, corporate announcements, and communicating to business and financial media. Internally, we are responsible for communicating company news and information to all employees; partnering with HR to educate employees on company culture, values, benefits and rewards; managing and conducting global company meetings and events; and managing the company intranet and internal social network.

This is a great opportunity to get first-hand experience working at the regional headquarters of leading medical device company, Align Technology – makers of Invisalign® clear aligners and iTero® intraoral scanners.

Based in Singapore, you will work on a number of corporate communications projects, supporting the Corporate Communications Director, and collaborating with our regional and global communications colleagues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development of brand and communications materials
  • Coordinate production of creative, digital and video materials
  • Support the implementation of internal and external communications activities
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars
  • Coordinate other projects as assigned
  • Administrative support, schedule and coordinate meetings, organize events as required
  • Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a tertiary education focused on communications, journalism, public relations, English, or related discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong copyediting and proofreading skills
  • Photoshop and video editing skills
  • Familiarity with the latest communication trends and best practices
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel – familiarity with Salesforce a plus!
  • Able to interact professionally with others in a corporate setting
  • Very organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced and growing environment
  • Preserves confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information
