Aktivate Education Pte Ltd – Outdoor Camp Facilitator / Outdoor Coach

Aktivate Education is an experiential education provider that partners with schools to deliver impactful learning programmes for students. We conduct outdoor camps, adventure-based learning, and leadership development programmes that build character, teamwork, and resilience. We also provide indoor workshops focused on life skills, communication, study skills, and personal growth. Our programmes are designed to engage students through hands-on and interactive learning experiences. Through our work, we aim to inspire and equip young people with the skills and confidence needed for their future. 

Aktivate Education is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Outdoor Coaches, supporting the delivery of camps, outdoor education programmes and experiential learning programmes for students from Primary to Tertiary levels.

As an Outdoor Coach, you will play an active role in engaging students, facilitating activities and creating meaningful learning experiences through the outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate team-building, outdoor and experiential learning activities
• Lead and manage groups of students throughout programmes
• Conduct activity briefings, safety briefings and debriefs 
• Facilitate activities such as orienteering, outdoor cooking, trekking, high elements and water-based activities
• Support programme operations, equipment and logistics 
• Work closely with fellow coaches and programme leaders to ensure programmes are conducted safely and effectively

Who We Are Looking For 
We welcome individuals who: 

• Enjoy working and communicating with youths
• Are confident or willing to develop confidence in leading groups
•  Are proactive, adaptable and responsible 
• Work well in a team 
• Are receptive to feedback and willing to learn
• Previous experience in facilitation, coaching, camps, teaching, mentoring or youth work is an advantage but is not required.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old 
• Able to meet relevant MOE Instructor Registration requirements 
• Standard First Aid certification 

Guidance for MOE registration and Standard First Aid training may be provided where applicable.
