You are a creative at heart, but understand that the best creative pieces are those that evoke a response from the audience. You are practical and savvy about the trends of video moving into social and engagement based content.
You have a strong portfolio and background in video (Not necessarily volume of work but quality work and work that drives engagement from an audience).
You do not want to be focused on sales and bringing in the clients, you want to be focused on what you are great at: Directing, shooting and editing video and even providing directions of the shooting process.
Requirements:
- Great story-telling abilities / Strong in Engagement based video formats(Talk shows / Sales Videos / Funny videos / Emotional videos / Tutorials / Vlogs / Reviews)
- Strong portfolio in video: producing, shooting and editing
- 1-3 years of experience in video or exceptional results in video content (No corporate / Business experience required)
- Ability to manage and coordinate various projects at one time.
- Ability to deliver work on time and with care and thought put into the projects.
- Understanding of the digital landscape of video, engagement on social platforms like Youtube.
- Eye for unique angles for shots.
- You are willing to put in the work to build a company around your video skills and not just operate as a one man show / freelancer.
No educational requirements
Job Scope:
- Work with the founder to develop a video strategy for clients with results based KPIs.
- Manage and execute the video strategy that was recommended.
- Produce, shoot and edit videos as required.
- Follow up on all the communications.
- Possibly manage a production team in the future.
- Responsible, show up on time, be able to provide real value as a creative professional.
