Founded by Ken & Lyn since 2014, Accent is a sister brand of Assemble. In just 2 short years, Accent has emerged as one of the most respected and celebrated bespoke brand, offering a wide array of designs across leisure, formal, wedding & even social wear. Our store is located in the heart of Orchard Central spanning across 3 combined units in total. As such we are looking to expand and nurture a group of passionate and self motivated individuals.
You will strive to provide an enjoyable and memorable shopping experience for every client by delivering excellent customer service, management and communication. This key position includes working will require a commitment of at least 5 working days.
As you progress you will also be taught on taking measurements and fittings. Collaborating with a team of master tailors with an average 30-40 years experience, you will learn the technicalities of bespoke/custom process, how fabrics drape, identifying different body types of clients, determining various construction methods, aiding clients in visualising sketch to completion and the list is non exhaustive.
This role will be suitable for candidates who have graduated from fashion, sewing, cutting or even drafting. If you’ve had experience in similar roles will be a bonus. Knowing how to operate sewing machines are also a bonus but not compulsory.
We prefer candidates who are passionate about this trade.
