Project Overview / Proposal
Service Level for shopping cart conversion of 2 working days continue to be a challenge due to DPO 120 days to improve cash flow. Non-performance in service levels can create risk to the operations resulting in downtime if parts or services are not procured in time.
This project shall ensure balancing of financial benefits without impacting service levels.
Scope / Core Responsibilities
1. Conversion of shopping carts to purchase orders.
2. Improve the robustness to track and manage daily shopping carts.
3. Identify opportunity for consolidation of suppliers by category for volumize spend.
Major Deliverables
1. Ensure 0 aging shopping carts and adherence to service level.
2. Automate the tracking of daily shopping carts status.
3. To develop Approved Vendor Listing by Category for Indirect Purchase.
Learning outcomes (skills, knowledge and attributes)
1. To gain exposure and knowledge on purchasing concepts for Indirect Purchase (eg. Procure to Pay).
