Project Scopes:
- To develop knowledge management content and communication platforms and search engines to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of intra-organizational knowledge sharing within Abbott Nutrition
- To develop user friendly analytical applets and tools that optimizes/improves manufacturing and engineering operations in nutrition division (use cases (not exhaustive) include resource optimization, scheduling optimization, project management metrics, utility analytics, spare parts inventory optimization etc.)
- To support site based database management, consolidation and cleansing efforts to build meaningful and accurate analytical data marts for advanced data analytics, operations research and industrial engineering purposes
Learning outcomes:
- Learn about methods and challenges in the development and implementation of knowledge management systems and platforms for global MNCs
- Learn to better understand user requirements and integrate that knowledge with real life application of technical know-how (optimization, statistics etc.) to develop user friendly solutions that provide value to the enterprise from an operational effectiveness and efficiency standpoint
- Learn best-in-class simulation practices (e.g., data management, modeling, analysis etc.) to communicate and drive business value
