99.co is looking for a Data Science Intern to join our diverse team of people who are passionate about taking the real estate industry properly into the age of technology through innovation and a desire to solve its multitude of challenges.
What you'll do
- Mine and analyze consumer and agent behavior data to help us improve existing algorithms
- Conduct testing and validation of machine learning models
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure successful deployment and optimal performance
Person We're Looking for MUST have/are/be:
- Currently working towards a BS, MS, or advanced degree in a relevant statistics, computer science or engineering program
- Knowledge of Python and SQL, as well as database systems like MongoDB, Postgres, or MySQL
- Experience building recommender systems is a plus
- Independent, smart, hardworking, and a goal-getter that is not afraid to get stuff done
- Able to embrace both the charms of individuality and teamwork
- A problem solver that thrives in a startup environment
- A powerhouse of both passion and personality
- Always excited about learning new technologies and translating data into business solutions
