99.co is looking for a Data Engineering Intern to join our diverse team of people who are passionate about taking the real estate industry properly into the age of technology through innovation and a desire to solve its multitude of challenges.
As an analytical and data driven enthusiast, you will be partnering closely with the Data Engineers, product and business teams to identify new opportunities and translate data into useful and actionable insights; steering and guiding the company in making effective product and business decisions.
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain internal data pipelines
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Improve and write data warehouse ETL scripts, as well as aiding in data collection processes
- Filter and clean data by reviewing business intelligence reports and performance indicators
- Partner closely with product, engineering and business teams to ensure successful deployment and optimal performance
What you will require:
- A detail-oriented personality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic knowledge in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of DB systems like MongoDB, Postgres, or MySQL is a +
- Passion for data and driven to improve processes
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment, and priorities among competing tasks/errands
