99.co is looking for a Content Marketing Intern to share his/her content producing prowess with the team. We are a diverse organisation of people who are passionate about constantly improving on our product by way of innovation through technology. We are also powered by a deep seated desire to be better than we were yesterday, both professionally and personally!
What you'll do
- Assist the Content team in generating original content for the blog, the main 99.co site and for our social media channels
- Ensure that the content is search engine optimised
- Assist in production of the 99.co bi-weekly newsletter
- Forge relationships with third party partners and websites to market our content to
- Conducting interviews and the crafting of copies
- Conduct research for our content articles and consumer marketing initiatives
Person We're Looking for MUST have/are/be:
- A large dose of common sense, a good sense of humour, and the ability to see the silver lining in even the darkest of clouds
- A willingness to learn on the job
- The ability to wear many hats and multi-task
- An consummate story-teller and adapt wordsmith who thrives in a startup environment
- Flexible and able to think quickly on his/her feet
- A creative individual who appreciates the nuances of the English language
- The ability to handle all tasks (both big and small) with gusto and enthusiasm
- Familiarity with WordPress, MailChimp and Buffer is preferred, but not a must
