8ightplus – Accounting Intern

The position will allow interns to apply accounting knowledge into real world situation and learn how to manage accounting system for 8ightplus international market.

All 8ightplus interns will also have the opportunity to build great communication, problem solving and people skills through collaborating with our international team. You will be exposed to real world problems and are given the responsibilities and guidance to tackle them head on.

Job Scope:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Daily Business Admin works
• Assist Accounting Manager
• To maintain a proper and timely month-end close and to ensure all purchases are properly approved and payments processed timely
• Verify expense suppliers' invoice and follow up to resolve any discrepancies
• Monitor payment plans and process payments promptly
• Check, verify and process claims and invoice
• Perform creditor statement reconciliation and bank reconciliation
• Ensure purchases are recorded and payments processed timely
• Maintain audit schedules and ensure all reconciling items are adjusted

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in English
• 2nd language is a plus (Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin Chinese)
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving and organising skills
• Highly Motivated, Fast Learner

Note:

• 8ightplus Internship period is between 3-6 months  
• Interns who have satisfactory performance will get a job offer after the internship
• For interns who do a three-month or longer internship, we will subsidize the work holiday visa cost, which is S$150.
• For interns who could do a six-month internship, we will subsidize their air ticket up to USD1000.
• Company can provide accommodation
