We are looking for a Marketing & communications support Intern to be part of our team! Our interns are put through an initial grooming period, after which tailored projects are entrusted upon them to run with senior supervision, making their internship with us not only fun, but incredibly fulfilling!
Duties and responsibilities:
- Measuring and reporting on key metrics for content and social media marketing performance
- Create compelling content that is strategically useful for generating new leads and sales
- Develop marketing material such as information kits, brochures, collaterals and etc
- Tracks competitive and industry information and compiles results in the form of reports
- Assist in the planning, development and execution of marketing plans/activities
- Posting content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and blogs
- Maintains calendar, contacts and routine activities
- Other administrative functions as assigned
Job requirements:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Student or graduate with a Diploma/ Degree in Public Relations/Communications/Marketing preferred
- Familiar with social media networks and platforms
- Fluent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- A point of view worthy of attention and an eye for aesthetics
- Interest in and flair for writing
Attitude:
- Highly motivated, possess proactiveness and desire for more knowledge with a positive attitude
- Ability to deal with pressure, ability to multi task and work with multiple touch points at the same time
- Self-starter with strong initiative and excellent time management skills
- Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented and analytical
Software skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/illustrator and basic video editing tools would be an advantage
