About the Internship

Much of the equipment in semiconductor manufacturing was never designed to share data. As an intern, you will help connect real production tools to our AI platform, working alongside our engineers on edge devices, sensors and equipment integration, both in our lab and at customer sites.

What You'll Do

• Assist in installing, configuring and testing IoT devices, sensors and edge computers on manufacturing equipment

• Help develop and test simple control logic and automation scripts (PLC, Python or C/C++)

• Support equipment data collection and check data quality with the Data Science team

• Help troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues under supervision

• Prepare documentation, including installation guides, test records and procedures

• Join on-site deployments at customer facilities, following safety and cleanroom protocols

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

• Basic programming skills in Python, C/C++ or Arduino

• Basic understanding of electronics and circuits; able to read simple schematics

• Hands-on lab experience with tools such as a multimeter

• Interest in industrial automation, IoT or semiconductor manufacturing

• Willing to work on-site in production environments

Nice to Have

• School or personal projects with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, sensors or microcontrollers

• Exposure to PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron)

• Familiarity with communication protocols (RS232/RS485, Modbus, MQTT, TCP/UDP)

• Basic Linux experience
