- Job Description
• Support key product development initiatives by liaising with various internal stakeholders and ensuring product development is conducted with due consideration given to multiple perspectives ranging across investment, client, legal, compliance and operational considerations.
• Assist in market research, analysis and discussions on the feasibility of new products/strategies or modifications of existing strategies
• Support the planning and delivery process of new product launches for identified markets and clients
• Prepare and develop relevant collaterals for external propositions
• Support the collection of market intelligence on industry activities and provide insights and analysis of the firm’s product positioning relative to peers
• Support the team on engagement activities with LGI’s partners which include ETF participating dealers, distributors and the exchanges.
• Support the team in the planning, coordination, execution and presentation of ETF educational/promotional activities such as seminars, client events, etc.
• Provide ad hoc support to the ETFs and Strategic Product Development team as and when assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Pursuing relevant Degree, preferably with a focus in Finance or business
• Asset Management Sales/Product background (ETF will be a plus)
• Outstanding analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
• Resourceful, adaptable to changes and able to work well in an unstructured environment
• Proactive, curious, self-motivated, responsible, with careful attention to detail
• Strong ability to work collaboratively across functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred to facilitate communication with stakeholders (spoken and written)
• Broad understanding of the different functions which support an asset management business
• Possess a positive attitude to learn and contribute to the team
