This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a System Architect Intern in Singapore with Signify.
As a System Architect Intern at Signify, you will support the development of innovative smart building and lighting control solutions across hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. Working closely with System Architects, sales teams, and project stakeholders, you will contribute to the creation of design concepts, technical proposals, and project documentation that help bring connected and sustainable building technologies to life.
This internship offers hands-on experience in system design, visualization, building automation, and lighting control solutions, providing exposure to both the technical and commercial aspects of the business. You will have the opportunity to learn industry-leading technologies, support customer-focused solutions, and contribute to projects that align with Signify's vision of unlocking the extraordinary potential of light for brighter lives and a better world.
More about you
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in System Architecture, smart building technologies, lighting control systems, and integrated control solutions.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, or other design Autodesk Revit, modelling, and visualization tools is an advantage.
Experience in supporting presales activities, including preparing high-level architectural drawings, presentations, and technical documentation using Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel and other relevant software tools, would be an advantage.
Very basic knowledge of market research and competitor analysis, including evaluating and benchmarking smart building, lighting control, and building automation solutions, would be beneficial.
Basic understanding of emerging and innovative technologies within the smart building industry, and the ability to compare system features, capabilities, and value propositions across different technology providers.
Eagerness to learn, with strong analytical, critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative team player who demonstrates curiosity, accountability, innovation, and a customer-focused mindset aligned with Signify's values.
