Job Description

Position Summary

 The Legal Intern will provide temporary administrative support to the Legal Services Department by reviewing and organising contract documentation, maintaining the contract index, and assisting with contract administration. This is a short-term project-based assignment of approximately two weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review existing UK contracts and extract key information for inclusion in the contract index.
  • Prepare, update and maintain the contract index to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify that contract documents are complete, properly organised and accurately described.
  • Organise and maintain electronic contract records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with general contract administration and document management.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Legal Services Department.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in law (or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Duration:

  • Temporary engagement of approximately 2 weeks (extendable up to 1 month, if required).
