Science Curriculum Assistant (Part-time)

Explorer Academy is a Science specialist tuition centre with over 12 years of results. We are looking for a Science Curriculum who is passionate about the lab work, genuinely cares about students, and wants to develop their craft in a structured, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Curate & Build Lab Practical Content
- Curate and develop practical and experimental content for Primary and Secondary Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)
- Design lab activities, worksheets, step-by-step instructions and answer guides
- Ensure all content is curated and formatted according to EA's teaching template
- Ensure all content maps to the latest Singapore MOE Secondary Science syllabus
- Keep materials accurate, current, and consistent across Physics, Chemistry & Biology
Support Lab Delivery
- Trial experiments before class use to confirm they run cleanly in a classroom setting
- Work with tutors and the academic team to refine content based on how it plays out in real lessons
- Keep the content library organised and version-controlled
- Flag gaps and suggest improvements to strengthen our practical programme
Working Hours
- Part-time, flexible hours
- Remote / Hybrid
- Paid per project phase
Job Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, and able to organise large amounts of information systematically
- Good written English
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience teaching or tutoring Secondary Science
- Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Science syllabus
- Experience preparing educational resources
Qualification
- Strong understanding of Primary and Secondary Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
- Major in a Science-related discipline
