Minto Studios offers creative visual concepts that harness the power of visual media—from photography, video productions, and live-streaming to studio rentals. With so many forms of visual media available, our clients often struggle to figure out which media to use, for what purpose, when to use it, and how to do it. From short-form social videos to TVCs and live productions, we work closely with our clients and partners to find the best direction forward. With our professional production capabilities and resources, we bring their stories to life.
Minto Studios is expanding, and we are looking for passionate interns to join our team. Depending on your strengths and career goals, you will step into either the Media Production track or the Social Media & Marketing track. Both roles offer the chance to explore your creative boundaries, learn valuable industry skills, and see the direct impact of your work!
Production / Marketing Interns (2 Vacancies Available)
Choose Your Track:
Role 1: Production Intern
This role is focused on the technical, logistical, and creative aspects of hands-on photo and video production.
On-Set Production: Be involved in different corporate/commercial productions as a Photography Assistant, Production Assistant, Gaffer, Camera Assistant, or Coordinator based on your skill set.
Equipment Management: Assist in the preparation, setup, and packing of camera equipment, lighting tools, and studio assets for various projects.
Production Logistics: Learn to organise and make important shoot arrangements, understanding both the macro and micro details of a production.
Post-Production: Assist in photo or video editing, including asset cleanup, adjustments, and the preparation of graphics, lower thirds, or logos.
Creative Input: Contribute to the creative process by offering input and ideas for content development during the planning phases.
Role 2: Marketing Intern
This role is focused on driving brand awareness, content strategy, and digital community growth.
Content Strategy & Planning: Brainstorm, plan, and execute engaging weekly content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Content: Capture and edit dynamic, short-form BTS videos (15 seconds to 2 minutes) showcasing our active production sets.
Design & Copywriting: Design eye-catching graphics using tools like Canva or Photoshop, and develop ideas for bi-weekly blog posts or marketing copy.
Community Engagement: Interact directly with our community by responding to comments and tailoring future content to what our audience loves.
Analytics & Archiving: Track and analyze content performance data to optimize our digital strategy, and document posted content for future reference.
Requirements
Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Marketing, Communication, or a relevant field.
For Production Applicants: Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom) or Capture One. Understanding of camera equipment, framing, composition, focus, and exposure is required.
For Marketing Applicants: Strong interest in social media trends and digital marketing. Basic knowledge of CapCut, Canva, or Premiere Pro, along with strong writing skills and an excellent command of English.
Core Attributes: Excellent time management, a strong sense of responsibility, good production etiquette, and a highly collaborative, positive attitude.
