Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Casework & Counselling, Information & Referral

1. Provide Information and Referral services

2. Provide case intake for walk-in clients

3. Handle up to 30 cases as assigned, maintain client’s records and monitor their progress

4. Activate the cases in each quarter and ensure timely closure for inactive cases that are no longer in need of service

5. Complete case recordings timely

6. Provide timely response and relevant intervention to clients

7. Collaborate with relevant partners in addressing the concerns faced by the family through case conferences and other collaborative intervention

8. Attend regular supervision for case direction, support and enhancement of clinical skills

Community Work and Groupwork

1. Be a member of the Community Work Task Group

2. Assess the needs and requirements of the community within the FSC boundary for intervention

3. Plan, organise, execute and evaluate community work interventions

4. Develop the proposal paper for a Groupwork project

5. Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate the groupwork

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Degree in Social Work; preferably an accredited Social Worker

2. Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in social work setting

3. Has a pleasant disposition, with good communication and interpersonal skills
