Sembcorp Specialised Construction Pte Ltd – Intern, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities 

• Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of M&E systems for building and infrastructure projects.
• Support M&E engineers in conducting site inspections, testing, and commissioning of M&E installations.
• Work with AutoCAD and other software to prepare technical drawings and documentation.
• Assist in reviewing project specifications, blueprints, and engineering reports.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices and new technologies in M&E engineering.
• Participate in project meetings and provide support in coordination with various stakeholders, including contractors and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all M&E operations.
• Document project progress and prepare reports for management review.

Requirements

• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Basic understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, lighting, electrical power distribution, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other M&E design software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
