The Helping Hand is a halfway house in Singapore dedicated to supporting ex-offenders in their journey of restoration and reintegration into society. Through our 4-Fold Therapy model, we seek to rebuild lives, restore relationships, and create opportunities for lasting transformation.
We are looking for an Events & Partnerships Intern to support our outreach, donor engagement, and fundraising efforts. In this role, you will help expand our donor and supporter network through creative outreach, meaningful partnerships, and well-executed events.
You will support the conceptualisation and organisation of events that not only raise funds, but also deepen engagement with donors, volunteers, partners, residents, and the wider community. This internship is suitable for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is highly organised in managing multiple moving parts at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Support outreach efforts to identify and engage new donor pools through event marketing, networking, and other partnership-building efforts
- Assist in creating and organising events that engage volunteers, donors, residents, and community partners
- Liaise with vendors, partners, guests-of-honour, and internal stakeholders to support smooth event execution
- Track tasks, timelines, and coordination points across multiple projects and events
