Role Snapshot
The Business Research Intern sits in the department of Investor Matching. This person will support Zenith’s investor engagement and business matching initiatives. This role focuses on researching business concepts, validating legitimacy, and supporting alignment between founders, investors, and partners. It is ideal for someone excited by business trends, global opportunities, and structured research-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and assess business concepts, industries, and emerging market trends.•
Conduct preliminary legitimacy checks including business registration, structure, and basic administrative setup.
• Support investor and business matching by evaluating alignment between businesses, investors, and strategic partners.
• Use AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to accelerate research, validation, and synthesis of information.
• Prepare concise summaries, notes, and recommendations for internal review.
• Track regional and global business developments, with emphasis on Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Who we are looking for
• Undergraduate with approximately one year to graduation, graduating soon, or recently graduated.
• Comfortable conducting independent research on business models, companies, and industries.
• Analytical, curious, and not satisfied with surface-level information.
• Confident in making recommendations, yet humble and open to learning and feedback.
• Down-to-earth, ambitious, and interested in B2B business, B2B investment-related work, or entrepreneurship.
