Job Description

Job Description

The intern will support the organising team for the Open Houses for adult disability services, e.g. Day Activity Centre, Sheltered Workshop, Enabling Services Hubs, and Enabling Business Hub. He/she will be assisting with event planning and coordination, engagements with different service providers and caregivers of PwDs, and raising awareness on various disability programmes. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas 

  • Manage Open House registrations by caregivers, SPED graduands and SPED school staff, including sending reminders 
  • Manage waitlists for in-person sessions 
  • Attend to enquiries on the Open House sessions 
  • Liaise with the disability service providers on RSVP and attendance
  • Collate feedback from the sessions 
  • Prepare a presentation which analyses and synthesises the feedback collated
  • Undertake any other duties / responsibilities assigned 

Requirements

  • Open to candidates with GCE‘A’ Levels, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification 
  • Good organisational skills, analytical and meticulous 
  • Proactive,possessstrong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team 
  • Proficient in MS Office
