Job Description

Job Summary

As a Merchandising Intern, you will be responsible in supporting the merchandising team in the PO creation, reports, liaising with external suppliers and internal departments to ensure seamless process of stock to store after order is placed.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Create and uploading of purchase orders in ERP System
  2. Ensure order confirmations and invoices from suppliers are accurate
  3. Validate suppliers invoices and liaise with finance for payments
  4. Ensure pricing (cost & retail price) are accurate
  5. Follow up and keep track with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
  6. Follow up with suppliers and liaise with stores for any inventory issues (e.g damage stocks, wrong items delivered, etc)
  7. Update purchase orders in system before stock receiving
  8. Liaising with stores and warehouse to arrange stock to stores.
  9. Weekly stock replenishment for stores
  10. Monitor stock level of key items and follow up with re-orders when necessary.
  11. Generate weekly and monthly reports.
  12. Tracking of consignment sales and arrange stock to be returned to suppliers on regular basis
  13. Prepare training materials and conduct seasonal product trainings and regular store visits.
  14. Provide sales analysis to suppliers, stock status or any other reports upon request
  15. Support operations when necessary
  16. Any other adhoc duties as assigned
