Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will support the supply chain and operations team in managing the flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational support within a regulated medical device and healthcare environment.

This internship offers a practical opportunity to understand how supply chain operations support business growth and regulatory compliance.

Interns Will Have the Opportunity To:

• Gain exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations in a medical device company

• Develop practical skills in procurement, inventory control, and logistics coordination

• Work with experienced professionals and gain insights into supply chain management within a regulated industry

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Assist with procurement activities, including purchase order preparation, supplier communication, and order tracking.

• Support inventory management, including stock monitoring, reconciliation, and basic inventory reporting.

• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to support incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Assist in preparing and maintaining supply chain documentation such as invoices, delivery orders, and shipping records.

• Support demand planning by tracking sales orders and inventory usage trends.

• Help identify and resolve basic supply chain or operational issues under supervision.

• Work closely with regulatory and operations teams to ensure supply chain activities align with compliance requirements.

• Handle general operational and administrative matters as needed to support overall company efficiency.

• Strong interest in supply chain management, operations, logistics, or business operations

• Highly organised and detail-oriented

• Proactive team player with good follow-through

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working with data, documentation, and operational processes

• Able to commit to a minimum of 5 months full-time internship

• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm
