Role Overview
As a Business Development Intern, you will support the business development team in expanding Alcotech’s client base and growing new business opportunities. This role focuses on outreach to existing and prospective clients, relationship management, and market development.
The internship provides hands-on exposure to sales, client engagement, and business strategy within the medical device and healthcare industry, in a supportive and professional environment.
Interns Will Have the Opportunity To:
Gain exposure to business development and client engagement in a medical device company
Develop practical skills in sales outreach, lead generation, and relationship management
Work closely with experienced professionals and gain insights into the healthcare and regulatory services industry
The Day-to-Day Activities
Reach out to existing and prospective clients via email, phone, and other communication channels to introduce Alcotech’s products and services.
Support the development of new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, partners, and markets.
Assist in preparing sales materials, proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
Maintain and update client databases, CRM records, and sales tracking reports.
Conduct market and competitor research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and potential growth areas.
Follow up with leads and clients to support ongoing discussions and business negotiations.
Collaborate with regulatory, operations, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with company capabilities.
Handle general operational and administrative matters as needed to support overall business efficiency.

Requirements
Strong interest in business development, sales, or marketing
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Proactive team player with good follow-through
Comfortable communicating with clients and stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Able to commit to a minimum of 5 months full-time internship
