About the job

The Business Analyst Intern supports the Business Analysis team in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements for digital and technology-driven projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to real client projects, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, and Agile delivery environments. The internship is designed for final-semester students or recent graduates who are keen to build a strong foundation in Business Analysis and grow into a full-time role. High-performing interns may be considered for a permanent position upon successful completion of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the gathering and documentation of business and functional requirements
• Assist senior Business Analysts in preparing requirement documents, user stories, and process flows
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, requirement workshops, and project discussions
• Help analyse business processes and identify gaps or improvement opportunities
• Support preparation of functional documentation and solution artefacts
• Assist in developing test plans and test cases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Help track requirement changes and maintain documentation updates
• Support system testing, defect tracking, and follow-up on issue resolution
• Assist with system training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation activities
• Work with local and offshore teams to support timely and quality project delivery
• Learn and follow established Business Analysis processes, tools, and best practices

Requirement and Qualification

• Final-semester students or recent graduates pursuing or holding a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field are preferred
• Strong interest in Business Analysis, digital systems, and technology projects
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Able to take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through

Added Advantage

• Exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
• Basic understanding of system integrations or APIs
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience working on digital or technology-driven projects
