Job Description

Are you a self-starter with a passion for the dynamic world of digital marketing? Cleverly SG is looking for an energetic and growth-minded Business Development Intern to join our fast-paced sales team. In this role, you will learn the art of consultative B2B selling and get hands-on experience in how top-tier digital campaigns are pitched, won, and executed.

You will work directly with our senior Business Development Executives and digital strategists, helping to drive pipeline growth while learning the ins and outs of SEO, SEM, and government grants (PSG/EDG).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify potential SME and mid-market clients in Singapore who can benefit from performance-driven digital marketing.

  • Outreach: Assist in initiating contact with prospects via email, LinkedIn, and cold calls to qualify leads and set up consultation meetings.

  • CRM Management: Maintain and update our sales pipeline using HubSpot, ensuring all client data and communications are accurately tracked.

  • Proposal Support: Assist the BD team in preparing custom pitch decks, ROI projections, and service proposals for prospective clients.

  • Market Research: Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor offerings, and enterprise grant schemes (like the PSG Digital Marketing Grant) to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to converse in Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu with local SMEs is a plus.

  • A resilient, "growth-mindset" attitude with a keen willingness to learn fast and iterate faster.

  • Basic understanding of the digital marketing landscape (SEO, Social Media, Google Ads).

  • Great organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
