Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support the planning and execution of Tiger Brokers Singapore's client-facing offline events. This role offers hands-on exposure to event management, stakeholder coordination and strategic content planning within a fast-paced professional environment. Beyond the basic supporting of events, the incumbent will also contribute to building, reporting and operational decision-making processes. The role is well-suited for candidates who are keen to gain practical experience through hands-on execution, enjoy contributing collaboratively, are meticulous, able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment and lastly have the flexibility to support events outside regular working hours as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and execute events for clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align themes and schedules with strategic objectives.
- Act as the on-site operations point-of-contact - coordinate with speakers, trainers, and partners, ensuring smooth event execution.
- Maintain, organise and refine event-related SOPs and documentation to ensure processes are scalable.
- Collect and analyse feedback to continuously improve events' quality, effectiveness and relevance.
- Ensure seminar content complies with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
- Support internal meetings through note-taking, follow-ups and task tracking.
- Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks related to event and project execution as needed.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with webinar platforms like Zoom is a plus.
- Interest and/or prior experience in finance, events, marketing, or client engagement is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written), required to support cross-entity internal communications and Chinese-speaking partners and users.
- Willingness to assist with event setup and teardown, including packing, moving, and handling event materials and merchandise.
- Able to commit to 5 days per week, with flexibility to support events held after office hours or on weekends.
