Internship - NCA-Tamil News (Apr 2026 - Feb 2027)
- Draft short news pieces, headlines, or social media posts in Tamil under supervision.
- Accompany reporters on assignments or shoots, assist with setting up interviews, note-taking, and gathering quotes, Help with video or audio recording, logging footage, and basic editing tasks.
- Attend community events, press conferences, and cultural programs relevant to the Tamil community to gather information or visuals for stories.
- Support the digital team in monitoring audience feedback, and suggesting story ideas that appeal to Tamil-speaking audiences online.
- Assist in shooting, editing, and subtitling short news clips or community feature videos for the news website and social media platforms.
Qualifications
Good command of Tamil language, interest in news and current affairs, passion to learn reporting and different aspects of content creation.
